The First Kiss
This is about as extravagant as my drinks get, but I had to pull something out of the bag for Valentine’s day this year and this is where this cocktail came from. I designed this cocktail to be made in a blender so it would become a ‘slushie’ however if you prefer a standard short drink, just make it in a shaker. You want to shake this one so the pineapple juice froths - classic cocktail texture!
Ingredients (Serves 2):
50ml of Gin (Pink Gin or Regular)
50ml of Raspberry Gin Liqueur or Chambord
150ml Pineapple Juice
Ice and Raspberries to Garnish
Add the Gin, Raspberry Liqueur and Pineapple Juice to a blender
Add a generous amount of ice, the smaller the better.
Blitz for 10 seconds, then pulse until smooth. Don't overblend it or it will become watery.
Serve in two short glasses and garnish with Raspberries.
My name is Lauren and I am the owner of @theboozysubscriber. As a final year business student at the University of Bath I was looking for an outlet during the 3rd lockdown and I found that in the Gin and cocktail Community. Having launched @theboozysubscriber I have decided to start a little business venture in the coming months, but for now, I am just making cocktails and reviewing the drinks that come my way.
I take a lot of inspiration from the bar scene in my home, Bath, as well as my favourite place to travel, the Algarve.
